I was very surprised to get the message. I didn't realize that he was trying to trick it. I got very confused, my heart said that I believe in him; but my logic didn't. I just thought how can he send such a luxurious gift. We just have just known each not more that two weeks. I thought it was very impossible. Then I try to search about the shipping service company (GLOBAL LOGISTICS SECURITY) on the internet, and i found it. but I felt something strange about my airway bill:
- The logo of the company in my airways bill is different from the company's logo in the website.
- There is no sender's address and phone number on my airways bill (only name and his city).
- There is company's address, phone number or website on it.
- When I entered my tracking number. It is unknown by the company's website.
It made me be suspicious. Then i search on google about "Fraud in International Package Delivery". The result was very surprising. From there, I knew about SCAM or SCAMMER. I read a lot of articles about scammer's victims. I also learned how to track IP address from an email ( read
I decided to trick him back. I pretended as if I didn't know that I was being tricked. From that, I could collect information about how he tricks his victims. I also found some of his profiles in social networking. I do hope that my articles can help us to avoid other victims.

After I got this email, a woman called me. She is an Indonesian. She told me that my package is confiscated since there was amount of money inside it. When I asked her how I can release it, she said that she would help me to handle the problem. I just had to pay USD 1,047. Of course I refused that, I told her that I would handle it myself.
I sent an email to Tony Smith, I told a lie that my father works as an Indonesian customs officer.

Im really really sad here about the parcel,
I
called them now, and they said that it's against their law to put money
inside a parcel. i told them to open it and take the money from there
but they said that cannot open it only u can open it when u receive it,
so i told them to return it back to UK but they said no. before they
will return it back or send to u,
and if u delay to make the payment they will
confiscate the parcel. have to release it from the custom first to avoid
problem now.
im
so sad coz im offshore here can't do anything even my parents ask me
money yesterday but i told them my situation here. they cannot accept
credit card, only cash payment needed. what you have to do now, u go and
borrow the money and send to them when they deliver the parcel u open
it and pay back to the person u borrowed the money to avoid them to
confiscate the parcel. the money inside the parcel is 20,000 British
Pounds, dont delay to release the parcel pls coz u know all my effort.

Hi,
i'm very sorry for this problem. i will do the best to get this parcel.
I know your effort to send it for me. I won't let them take and
confiscate it. I've told this problem to my dad as i said before
that my dad works in customs officer in semarang. he said that it's
true that it is against the law to put the money inside the package. And
he said that all packets from abroad which consist a luxurious things
(more that USD 250) are charged some taxes.
But
i find something strange about the officer who called me today to
inform about the problem. She said that i cant take the parcel because
there is some money inside it. When i asked
how much money is there in the box, she said that she didn't know
because the sum can't be seen from the scanner. Dad said that all
package from abroad will be opened manually not only check from the
scanner and will be wrapped again. how can she doesn't know about the
amount of the money. she only says that the package is confiscate by
indonesia airport custom office and i have to pay to get it. she even
doesn't know where the aiport customs office is and its phone number. I
mean she works in shipping service, how can she doesn't know such common
information. She only gave me a few information and I don't really
believe in her. She offered to handle this problem, but i refused. i
prefer my dad to handle it. He will call his friend at jakarta customs
office tomorrow when he works. He said if he find the package, he will
take it for me. I think it will be easy for him to take your package
since works there.

for my own advice i would
advice u to follow the lady instructions who called u. i dont want u or
ur father make it complicated, because not all the parcel u can just
open. the parcel will be opeb by u, the custom can scan it, and they
dont know how much inside the parcel. because not opened to count the
money, for their own safety reason, because it they open the parcel i
may file case against them,. that the money inside is no longer 20,000
GBP i will say it is more than that that's why they can't just open the
parcel. i dont want any problem about this, what u have to do send her
the money to release the parcel tomorrow, im not happy about these.
please dont waste all my effort in ur country, also our plan for each
other remember all these to avoid mistake ok.

No dear, don't believe in the lady. Even her voice in phone can't ensure
me that she is really the officer of the shipping service. I feel her
doubtfulness and lie when she talked to me on the phone. Be careful of
them dear.
I have attached indonesia custom guide. It's stated that all package
from aboard must be opened by indonesian customs officer. So that it's
wrong that they say only me who can open it. The customs officer has
right to open and check it so that they can decide the tax. I get more
suspicious with the lady who called me. Maybe she wants to get money for
herself. But unfortunately she try
to trick wrong person. Dad knows all customs rule for international
package. And I won't need to pay any tax for the package if dad take it
for. That's the advantage being an indonesian civil govenment officer.
It's easy to do something especially in his own office.
Just be careful with them dear, don't give them any money even they asked you. I will tell you any information that I get.
